Burger Shack in Benton

Excellent service and great food as always!

My wife and I have passed by here while playing pokemon go in downtown Benton many times and we always wanted to try it. The service was friendly and the food was very good. I would have given the review 5 stars, but I found the religious items for sale and decorations a bit off-putting as we were paying at the register. We didn't notice it before that, so it wasn't front and center to everything they did there, but I don't understand why it is necessary to sell Bibles and what not at your restaurant. Just make good food and provide good service. I won't tell you that I think your religion is superstitious nonsense and you don't have to trot the nonsense out while I'm paying for the food.

The cheeseburger is a flavor experience, and the fries are like dad used to make!

Long wait. But great food.

I have visited this restaurant a few times now and have found it to be consistent as well as consistently busy. The service is friendly and quick, typically being ran by only 2 people. The burgers are good and reasonably priced. Their chicken strips are great, juicy and fresh. Even though they have limited business hours I will try to find the time to return to this establishment and try some of their other items and would recommend them to those I know.

Amazing food with excellent an staff who knows how to treat people!!!

First visit. Very friendly staff. Was was very good, with large portions. Enjoyed foot long hot dog with everything, onion rings, cranberry chicken salad, and okra.

Excellent!The Burger Shack has a good location on Market Street, downtown Benton. The building is next door to the Royal Theater and is a former soda fountain (I think.). Was fairly busy when we arrived, but we got a table quickly. Wait staff was quite attentive and took our order after helping us with the specials. Wife got a hamburger & I decided on the open faced chilli cheese burger. Took longer than fast food restaurants, but not excessively so. When the food arrived, we understood the extra time. Each of the meat patties were hand formed (one on her sandwich, two on mine!) Lots of meat in the chilli and a goodly portion as well. Haven't had a sandwich like that since the old Sambo's chain went out of business, & theirs only had one patty! Wife said her burger reminded her of the ones she go many years ago in the small town she grew up in. Prices were more than fast food but not bad, and really, for what we had, seemed right. We'll be back Friday for that daily special, catfish!

Soup and sandwich was good. Burger & Onion Rings were also quite pleasant.

I've only eaten here once and it was good. Nice people working and located inside a terrific old, downtown building with a train that travels around near the ceiling. I'm posting though to say the homemade chips are incredibly yummy. 👍

Delicious burgers and a great atmosphere. If you’re in Benton this is definitely a place you have to eat at. Great burgers, great shakes, and quite a few options. All in all a great choice.

If you are driving thru Benton on Interstate 30 and you have never come here... I highly suggest you do. The burgers are delicious and the catfish is awesome also. The catfish is very lightly breaded and has that flavor we all expect out of catfish.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had a nice time talking to the owner. They are only open 10:30 to 2:30 Mon thru Fri.

Just a good old fashioned burger, it just works!™. The miracle whip instead of mayo was a little bit of an odd choice, but still good. The fries were a little bland, but there was an abundance of them. The atmosphere is very "southern hospitality" sort of place. I'd recommend eating here, and I'll probably be eating here again soon.

Solid burger. Very fresh. You can tell they just pressed it because all the patties are different shapes and sizes. Good homemade chips and fries too. Friendly service in a neat old time dairy bar atmosphere.
